WIFE beating is no longer “fashionable”
in our culture. So, these days, if
a man wants to get his wife to tolerate his hitting her, he has to take a more
indirect approach. I speculate
that the following would work. The
husband should hit her the moment they leave the church and get into the
limo. Ending the marriage would be
most “awkward” at this point. And
if the wife accepted it at this time, then the second time might seem more
“tolerable,” as it has become, in a sense, customary.
I am not recommending the action. I am simply presenting an analysis of how to seek acceptance of the indefensible. Pick the “honeymoon,” and test the limits of the new and unqualified love. It does not have to be a heavy blow. If the wife does not terminate the relationship then she may soon be defending “her” brute. This would be the only way for her to save her pride in public, and in her own heart.
Those who accept, and then defend, their own abuse may well induce in themselves a certain psychological perversion. The brute may become, in their minds, someone to be defended, then praised, and then exalted. This happened with certain Roman Emperors, with Stalin, and Mao, among other famous savages. And so why do I bring up this?
I see it happening with Bam-Bam. I posit the recent Air Force One photo “attack” on NYC to be a minor, but significant, form of wife/populace beating. This action was absolutely inexcusable. And it was inflicted on a very Liberal location. It was, objectively, a trivial, and almost humorous, incident. But it was a hideously arrogant form of abuse. The adoring wife was struck, in the limo (NYC), right after the reception (election). That first blow need not be heavy. It is the principle which matters.
Bam-Bam wanted to determine how much the Media, the Liberal Establishment, etc, would tolerate from him. With the Honeymoon still in full passion, he did the unforgivable. And because he will be forgiven this, next time he will hit his wife harder, and harder. He wants to be Mao. And he knows that repeated abuse of the follower is the only sure way to achieve this status.
It is very difficult to learn from history. Bam-Bam has learned. I am impressed.
