Michael Shaw

The irony on Stevenson, of course, was that he was not intellectual at all, and was unmasked as being something less than well-read.

He also fatally shot a friend as a teenager, and did not even get a wrist slap.

In many ways, he was just another elite scumbag.

OSCAR WILDE, from the grave, says:

  • 153. I am very much in favor of RECYCLING, having done this with the plots of a number of my best works. However, these effects, as with most other attempts at recycling, fortunately, have been hardly noticeable to anyone.

  • YOUR FREE SAMPLES, at left, are from the monthly publication Analysis and Explanations. Most issues consist of one major essay and a number of these fillers. Analysis and Explanations (of an artificial world) is an extremely exclusive publication. Unfortunately, it was intended to be one of mass circulation. YOU can help remedy this by subscribing. A&E takes a smart aleck view on its topics, which include politics, religion, culture, economics, history (past and future), international relations, and the media. Its best description is: “We say something which can not be true, and then prove to you that it is.” Your subscription rate is currently $30 per year. You may receive A&E online. To contact, to subscribe, or simply to offer compliments: vin@tocci.org. Or call 845-226-4172. Credit cards accepted.

  • If you find the following subjects, all major essays in A&E, to be of interest then you need to subscribe. If you do not find them to be of interest, then you need to subscribe even more:

    - Why deficit spending is the right thing, and why it benefits everyone… including “our grandchildren who will have to pay our debt.”

    - Why the war in Iraq can not be lost… because it was already won about 3 years ago.

    - How the evil rich buying the corrupt politicians will save America from itself.

    - The Lions and the Dogs: the essence of Catholicism.

    - The toothbrush: absolutely the greatest single invention in history.

    - The conquest of the American Indians by the “savage” Europeans was to the immediate benefit of both parties.

    - Clash of Civilizations: how to appease the radical Mohammedans in order to achieve a cheap and lasting victory.

    - There is no “anti-Conservative” bias in the media… because there are no conservative positions to be prejudiced against.

Although A&E includes lots of humor, every position, no matter how odd it may seem to you, is serious, and supported with valid evidence, perfect logic and irrefutable reasoning. You will not merely be convinced. You will be transformed. To subscribe: vin@tocci.org. Or call 845-226-4172.
